New Certifications for CounterPoint 7.5.19
Windows Server 2008 certification (32-bit only)
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (32-bit) is now a supported operating system for CounterPoint Version 7.5.19.
NOTE: CounterPoint can be used in 32-bit environments only; Currently, 64-bit environments are not supported. Additionally, there are some specific configuration requirements for using CounterPoint with Windows Server 2008. Please contact the CCS Retail Systems Support department for these server configuration details.
Pervasive SQL Version 9 Support
Pervasive discontinued the Pervasive SQL Version 9 data management solution in July 2009. You can continue to use Pervasive SQL Version 9, it is a stable and reliable database platform. It is fully compatible with CounterPoint Version 7.5.19. Radiant Systems will continue to support Pervasive SQL Version 9 as long as it is feasible to do so.
Pr the terms of Radiant's software distribution agreement with Pervasive, as of June 1, 2011, Radiant Systems no longer distributes Pervasive SQL Version 9 licenses, including new licenses and user count increases. If you are using Pervasive SQL Version 9 and you are adding a new site or want to support additional users, you will need to upgrade to Pervasive PASCAL Version 10.
