Speed - This is currently under 2 seconds for CPGateway users. A conventional modem is anywhere from 15 - 120 seconds depending on the time of day or season. Depending on the number transactions that you can physically do in on hour, this can really speed up your check-outs.
Customer Retainage - Depending on who's statics you are using, most consumers are impatient, and may not wait to check out if there are lines that are more than three or four people deep. I know from personal experience, that I spend more time waiting in lines than shopping at most stores. So I will intentionally not shop at certain stores, if I am in a hurry, or have had a particularly trying day. This means lost revenue, which is bad for the business, of course.
Recovering the cost of using CPGateway - Depending on whether you are using a preferred processor and your sales volume, CPGateway would only add between .04 and .075 cents to the cost of a transaction. Raising your prices by to recover this fee, for most of your customers, this change would be unnoticeable, especially for the added convenience involved.
Billing Statement Tools - Along with your monthly billing summary email, Radiant currently provides you with a detailed accounting of your Credit Card activity for the period. This includes a daily, hourly, and specific day of the week analysis, as well as a summary by Credit Card type. This includes a graph showing these trends. This is a really valuable analysis tool for making decisions about the cards you are using, or more general traffic issues.
