Regular backups for your servers and desktops is the best protection against data loss.  In business operations,  backups before posting procedures that change to several of your systems key databases is the best way to protect your system.

If the procedures you perform produce unexpected results, you can restore to the point before posting, rather than trying to repair each database individually. We suggest daily strategic backups for your servers and regular backups for your desktops on a less frequent basis.
