CCS Retail Author Guidelines

We are pleased that you have chosen to participate as an Author.  To request Author Status send us an email with your CCS Retail username and a description of the type of content you will be contributing.  Before completing this, please read the guidelines below.

For our site to respect the Laws of our Country, the Rights of its Citizens, and promote a fair exchange of ideas, we need to establish some guidelines for Articles you submit.  If these are not clear, send us your thoughts and questions.

If you would like to submit an article, but are not sure how to get started, we can offer you some sample templates to work from.

We wish to concentrate on content that has the following characteristics.  These are suggestions.  We will consider other topics on their merit.

• Covers a topic related to Computer Systems, Software, Hardware, and Services.
• Relates a Product Overview, Recommendation or Positive Experience with a Product or Service.
• Describes a, how to, or what to avoid scenario.
• Offers suggestions on a product enhancement.
• Poses a scenario that will help others.

We cannot promise to include content that has the following characteristics.

• Offers products that are not currently part of the CCS Retail portfolio.
• Complaints about Products or Services.  These should be discussed with our sales department for resolution.
• Offers competing Products and Services, or describes CCS Retail competitors.
• Are incorrect in technical advice or content.

Legally we cannot accept content with the following characteristics.

• Contains pornographic content or references.
• Uses language considered to be sexually explicit or inappropriate in any other way.
• Promotes or endorses a Political, Racial. or any inappropriate position.
• Is in violation of any other established content laws deemed to be relevant to our site..
